Doctrine of Peace

VOLUME ONE - CHAPTER 11

God created man (Adam) in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Surely every man walks in a show, male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. From the beginning of the creation God made them male and female and every male that opens the womb (matrix) shall be called holy to the LORD: for you are all one in the word of God. Ask now, and see whether a man does travail with child?

God established his covenant for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and the seed of promise, which is the posterity of your house. The land wherein you are a stranger, the land of Shiloh, which is the land of Canaan where he did set his name at the first, he gave for an everlasting possession, saying, keep my covenant, you, and your seed in their generations.

This covenant, that you and the seed, he that is eight days old and born in your house must be circumcised, is in the body for an everlasting covenant. Giving us one heart and putting a new spirit within us, our heavenly Father put his laws into our minds, and wrote them in our hearts. The LORD God circumcised your heart, the heart of your seed, to love the LORD God with all your heart, and with all your soul that you may live. Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, that on the eighth day, the time to circumcise the child, he is called after the name of his Father.

Born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. The Word, the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. And declared the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly, neither circumcision, which is outward in the flesh. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. And in the flesh the motions of sins, its affections, lusts and afflictions, which are by the law, works in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

There is now no condemnation in the risen word, walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if through the Spirit you shall live. The children of the promise are counted for the seed: brethren, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. It was sown in corruption, but raised in incorruption: sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

But he of the bondwoman is born after the flesh, but he of the free woman by promise. Jerusalem, which now is, is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty, by love, to serve one another. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Be circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. And be quickened together with him, receiving forgiveness for all trespasses. Blotting out the handwritten ordinances contrary and adversary to you, removing and casting into the sea those evidently set forth. Spoiling principalities and powers, making a show of them openly, triumphing over them.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Who in the days of flesh, offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.

Though a son, learned obedience by the things suffered, and made perfect by a new and living way consecrated through his flesh: high priest over the house of God, now subject unto the Father of spirits, he lives. Once suffering for sins, the just for the unjust, have come to the knowledge of God: put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. Heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ; we suffered together that we be also glorified together, which is now revealed in us. To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace: Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Thus says the LORD, take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. Lord God! Behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, there is nothing too hard for you.

Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear?
