Doctrine of Peace

VOLUME ONE - CHAPTER ONE

Well done, good and faithful servant you have been faithful over a few, I make you ruler over many, enter into the joy of your Lord. Joy, gladness, and peace and many shall rejoice at the birth: good tidings of great joy to all people. There is joy in the presence of the angels of God, and these things I speak unto you, that my joy remain in you, and your joy be full.

The world shall rejoice because your sorrow is turned into joy. You travailed in sorrow, because your hour is come, remember no more the anguish, a man is born into the world. And your heart rejoices, and your joy no man takes from you. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy be full.

And now I come to you and these things I speak in the world, that they have my joy fulfilled in themselves, for none of us lives to himself. The God of hope fills you with all joy and peace in believing, that you abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. That I come unto you with joy, by the will of God, and with you, be refreshed. And I write this unto you, having confidence in you all, my joy is of you all. Therefore I am comforted in your comfort, and exceedingly the more joyful for your joy, because my spirit is refreshed by you.

In a great trial of affliction the abundance of your joy and your deep poverty abounded unto the riches of your liberality. Making request with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now. I shall abide and continue with you, for your furtherance and joy of faith, that your rejoicing may be more abundant. Fulfill my joy, and be like minded, having the same love, of one accord, of one mind.

Therefore, my dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in God, dearly beloved. For what is my hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you? For you are my glory and joy. I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother, and your mother; and I am persuaded that in you also.

I am filled with comfort, for you took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourself that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father, yielding the peaceable fruit of righteousness.

You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, anoints you with the oil of gladness. Nevertheless I left not myself without witness, but made known to you the ways of life, and made you full of joy with my countenance.

For all things are yours, and the power of God Almighty rest upon you. Farewell, be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace be with you. Rejoice, make merry, and be glad, for this my brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

The Apostles and Elders and Brethren, greetings unto the brethren, and to the twelve tribes scattered abroad, greetings. All hail, you are highly favored, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women.

Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. For the fashion of this world passes away, by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you. Therefore, as you abound in every faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and all diligence, abound in this grace also.

You are translated from him that called you unto another gospel, the gospel of peace. Wherein you have abounded in all wisdom and prudence; quickened together, raised up together, and made to sit together in heavenly. That you show the exceeding riches of God's grace, and kindness toward you. For by grace you were saved through faith, the gift of God.

You are made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God, given you by the effectual working of his power. Saints and faithful brethren let the word of peace dwell in you richly. I lay on your shoulder rejoicing that is acceptable with God, for you have found favor with God. Increase in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man, and have favor with all the people. And God shall add to the church daily, delivering out of all afflictions, giving favor and wisdom, and have made you governor over his house. You found favor before God, desiring to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

Receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints, and grow strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: the grace of God is upon you. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of peace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all which are sanctified. Receive the abundance of peace, and the gift of righteousness reign in you forever and ever.
