VOLUME ONE - CHAPTER 21
I give
you of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn
and wine. I sustain you and love you, and bless you, and multiply you. I
also bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your land, the increase
in the land I sware unto your fathers to give you.
And I give the rain of your land in season that you gather in, and you
shall eat before the LORD God, the tithe, the firstfruit of your corn,
of your wine, and of your oil, shall they give you. The fountain of Jacob
is upon the land and the heavens shall drop down dew. I take you to your
own land that you may live, and not die: The LORD has delivered you.
And the commandment is sent abroad, all children bring in abundance the
firstfruits of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all, bring
in abundantly. Build storehouses also for the increase and restore even
this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses,
also the hundredth of money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that
was exact of them. The children will not forsake the house of God. Prepare
for him a great chamber and bring all the tithe unto the treasuries.
The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength,
Surely I call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon
you. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive
the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof as the wine of Lebanon.
You shall be satisfied and I will no more make you a reproach.
And the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat,
the firstfruits of which they shall offer unto the LORD, have I given
you. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall
flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and
for oil, and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not
sorrow any more at all.
